Contrary to popular belief, it is not simply a case of ‘you are what you eat’ – in order to optimise health, Naturopathic Nutrition considers how a person absorbs and assimilates food….even if you eat only healthy, organic food, if your digestive system is not functioning at its best, you are simply not optimising your food…so actually, ‘you are what you digest’ is more accurate.  
The human body needs to be constantly nourished. Nutrient requirements constantly change – It’s not always about what you eat but what you don’t eat that is important ….understanding your body’s nutritional needs will enable you to protect your health now and in the future.
I don’t believe in diet fads or quick fixes, my emphasis is to empower you by improving your relationship with food and providing the tools necessary to make effective changes for long term results and benefits. I take into account not only your diet but also your lifestyle choices and current health status in order to build a realistic plan to optimize your health. My understanding of how the body works allows me to tailor-make dietary recommendations based on your individual needs given your medical history and goals.
